Work Schedule: 10 Months/year, as required
The Halton District School Board (HDSB) is one of the fastest growing school districts in Canada. We are seeking Emergency Supply Teachers to cover the short-term absence of Elementary French Teachers (Core French / French Immersion).

Position Summary:
The Halton District School Board is currently seeking Emergency French Supply (Occasional) teachers to fill in for the daily absences of OCT certified classroom teachers. Emergency Supply Teachers are notified on the day of the vacancy if no HDSB OCT certified teacher is available. Given the growth of our Board, and the strong demand for French instruction there is a frequent need for Emergency French Supply Teachers.
Emergency Supply Teachers may apply to Long Term Occasional positions, OCT certified teachers will be considered first. Occasionally, the HDSB may hire an uncertified Emergency Supply French Teacher into a Long Term Occasional position, on a Letter of Permission from the Ministry of Education.
